Mission Statement

ITB's mission statement defines our quality policy and what it means for our customers in the clearest possible terms.



We continuously want to meet and exceed the customer expectations.
This finds expression in the quality of the products and services we supply.

We strive for optimum satisfaction of our customers and a good result of our activities.
Our goal is to perform all activities and services efficiently and effectively and to continuously improve their quality.


To put this mission into practice in every day work, ITB has set up a quality management system in accordance with the ISO/TS 16949:2002 standard and received certification in December 2003.
This quality standard is based on ISO 9001:2000, extended with specific requirements for the automotive industry.

The focal points of the ITB quality policy are:

- Customer-focused organization
Making the customer the central factor in all decisions and actions

- Process-oriented organization
Focus on primary process as the most important element of all activities

- Project based development of production processes
Development projects with an approach of multi disciplined teams

- Statistically controlled production processes
All production processes achieve a predefined and agreed capability

- Well organized improvement management an continual improvement
Active feedback using performance indicators as input for improvement

Besides quality, in its policy ITB pays much attention to environmental matters.
ITB has been certified for ISO 14001:2004.
The environmental management system has been integrated with the quality management system.
